l'amour
Olga Prader (born 1986 in Paris) is a Swiss and French graphic designer, art director, and illustrator. She studied graphic design at ECAL (Switzerland) and the Gerrit Rietveld Academy (Netherlands). From 2014 to 2017, she worked for the design studio M/M (Paris). As art director, she collaborated on the launch of the brand ARKET.
Her drawing practice is characterized by both a critical attitude, tinged with humor and eroticism, toward the content she depicts, and by a unique and exuberant use of black and white. Her drawings have been published by Apartamento, Nieves, Anaïck Moriceau Editions, Anura Editions, and Cpress. She has collaborated with several brands and institutions (Hermes, Maison Martin Margiela, Schauspielhaus Zurich, Zeit Magazin, M le Monde, World of Interiors, Modern Dance Theater Stockholm, Locarno Film Festival, Théâtre Sevelin 36, ARKET). She has taught and participated in juries at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Lyon, La Cambre in Belgium, and the Hochschule der Künste Bern in Switzerland and HFK Bremen in Germany. Her work has been featured in exhibitions at Galerie Francesca Pia in Zurich, the Swedish Foundation for Contemporary Art INDEX, Étoile du Nord in Paris.
In 2021, her illustration work won the Swiss Design Award.
